MELBOURNE: Arguably the possible next top model of the world should need no adornment, but despite sublime good looks, it seems Sally Arnott is human after all.
The Australian contestant for the 2008 Top Model of the World contest has fallen for the charms of Melbourne jewellery brand Joolz, resulting in a partnership that will see her wearing Joolz designs exclusively throughout the competition.
Arnott met Joolz designer Airdrie Makim at a recent Midnight Fashion launch in Melbourne, where she was host of the evening and Joolz designs were seen on the catwalk, a Joolz spokesperson confirmed.
"They have convened several times since to discuss the jewellery styles that suit Ms Arnott and which choice of colours will enhance her competition outfits. Joolz designs for Ms Arnott will include some of their popular recycled native Australian timber beads from the most recent collection and some sparkling crystal pieces."
Joolz would benefit from exposure gained by the partnership, which would see the Top Model of the World finals on 18 January telecast around the world.
Arnott's publicity track record also includes winning the Miss Australian Swimsuit Model Search, being ranked seventh in the world at the Miss Hawaiian Tropic International contest and appearing in the Guiness Book of World Records for pariticipating in the world’s biggest swimsuit shoot.
