SYDNEY: Luxury brand Oroton has finished the year with a flourish winning an international award and announcing details of a new store opening.
The Sydney-headquartered brand's Summer 2007 catalogue was awarded best in its category in the World Luxury Awards honouring creative excellence in luxury communication.
The campaign, created by advertising agency DDI, also featured the work of fashion photographer Jez Smith.
Oroton communications manager Cat Burke said the win was particularly rewarding as it was judged in an international arena against some of the best luxury brands in the world.
Burke said the campaign was a clear signal of the "exciting changes" occuring at the brand.
"A new design team has created a sharper and more fashionable feel for . . . the brand. New stores are rolling out with a luxuriously eclectic fitout, including a triple frontage at Sydney's QVB."
The store is expected to open on December 4.
