BRISBANE: Australian womenswear designer Bettina Liano has ramped up her national retail presence.

The Sydney-based businesswoman has just unveiled her first Brisbane store in emerging designer hotspot Fortitude Valley. Positioned alongside brands such as sass & bide, Mimco and Little Joe by Gail Elliot, the new boutique marks Liano' s second store in Queensland, with its first opening in Surfer's Paradise just over a year ago.

The opening will coincide with the arrival of Liano's spring/summer 2008 swim collection as well as the launch of a one-on-one personal styling service. Priced at $220, the swim collection takes its inspiration from the Greek Islands with rope detailing and black and gold shades interlaced throughout the entire range.

Bettina Liano has stores in Melbourne; Chapel St, Chadstone, Little Collins, and Little Lonsdale, Sydney’s Strand Arcade and Bondi Junction, Queensland’s Surfers Paradise and now Fortitude Valley.
