SYDNEY: Lionel Ritchie move over - the annual Ragtrader TNT Fashion Retailer of The Year Awards has turned out to be the hottest ticket in town.

Spots for the fifth instalment of the ceremony have officially sold out, following a last-minute ordering blitz from high-profile retailers, designers and industry icons.

Attendees for the ceremony, which will be staged at the prestigious Doltone House tomorrow evening at 6pm, will include 17 representatives from Westfield, a large delegation from national retail group M Webster Holdings, designer Josh Goot, The Corner Shop and Belinda store founder Belinda Seper and organisers of Rosemount Australian Fashion Week. Other guests expected to attend the gala include pyjama king Peter Alexander, executives from retail powerhouse The Just Group and several representatives from youthwear brand Ksubi.

Ragtrader publisher Helen Davies described the turnout as "phenomenal".

"We expected to attract a large number of industry delegates but the sheer scope and variety of those attending has superceded expectations - we have fabric suppliers, company executives, designers, financial specialists, publicity and marketing firms and international retailers. It looks set to be a spectacular evening."
