MELBOURNE: Licensing specialist Brand Management Australia (BMA) has launched a pre-Christmas promotion to drive sales of the revamped Holden Racing Team (HRT) fashion range.

Running from November 26 until Christmas Eve, the HRT Hot Ticket promotion will allow customers purchasing Holden Racing Team (HRT) fashion and merchandise at participating dealerships and Lions Den Stores to win more than $200,000 in cash, prizes and offers, a BMA spokesperson confirmed.

HRT's recently overhauled fashion offer would play a key role in the initiative, with high quality men's, ladies' and kidswear such as jackets, polo shirts, fleeces, tee shirts and hoodies, at prices ranging from $79 for a ladies' team shirt to $250 for a men's' team jacket. A full range of bags, hats, accessories and sunglasses is also available.

The fashion offer had played a central role in BMA’s remit of creating a HRT merchandising program to improve dealerships' bottom line, the spokesperson confirmed, adding the current promotion represented the culmination of 12 months' work to revamp the brand's merchandise range in line with its "state of the art" race cars.

"HRT has established itself as a leader on the track and BMA is keen to ensure that it is also a leader in the merchandise arena."

With prizes including plasma TVs, iPods, movie tickets or "HRT cash" for use in Holden dealership parts and service departments, the Christmas promotion was "in line with the essence of the HRT brand," she added.

"It rewards [customers] for their loyalty to HRT [and] it makes them part of our team. The thrill of winning is what the Holden Racing Team is all about."
