SYDNEY: Australian womenswear designer Alannah Hill has scored top honours at the annual Ipoh Retail Awards.
Ipoh - the retail property giant which operates Sydney's Queen Victoria Building (QVB), The Strand, The Galeries Victoria (TGV), Chifley Plaza and No 1 Martin Place – this week staged the ceremony for over 200 of its retailers at Sydney's Crystal Bar.
Hill earned top gong in The Strand category while other winners included Luneburger and Via Condotti (QVB), Valeries at the Galeries (TGV), Max & Co (Chifley's Plaza) and GPO Sydney (No 1 Martin Place).
Criteria for the awards was determined through a lengthy analysis by each centre management team with categories including sales results, customer service, visual merchandising, general lease compliance and participation in centre events.
