SYDNEY: Some of Australian fashion's leading lights have shown their green credentials at a fashion show with a difference.
In an attempt to raise awareness about environmentally sustainable fashion, Sydney-based firm Green Pages has hosted a fashion show featuring designs by high profile designers including Akira Isogawa, Camilla, Gorman and Romance was Born.
The company also used the event, hosted by SBS broadcaster and confirmed fashionista Lee Lin Chin - to launch its green pages directory that lists more than 6000 eco-friendly products and services.
Green Pages chief executive Katie Patrick said she hoped clothes would eventually be tagged with a star rating similar to those found on electrical appliances, detailing their green commitement.
