Sisters Courtney Saxon (26) & Jade Schilling (31)

Sometimes people call us

Chalk and cheese, I guess that's why the combination works so well together. Being so different, we always come to a good compromise on all decisions made together

We earn a crust by

Co-designing Luxe Accessories and Saxonne. Doing what we love and working damn hard. Dedication and a good work ethic is the key to success - something that we learned from an early age from hard working parents

Just before we answered these we were

Paying bills

Our worst habit is

Our addiction to chocolate. Our office day is not complete with the after lunch chocolate run

If we were a fashion item we'd be

A favourite leather bag, it's understated but much loved

Who we'd like to be if not us

I f we could - we would like to be in our late Grandpa's shoes for a day. Even though he was alive when we were very young, we would love to meet him today. Everyone says we got our artistic talent and creativity from him

People tell us we are

Down to earth and grounded in life. Ideas people. Always happy and motivated with a positive attitude. Chatterboxes

Our wardrobe favourite is

Our new season Luxe studded leather biker boots - they are amazing, everyone needs a pair. They are quite different to anything that is available at the moment

If we could banish one trend it would be

EMO, where's the smile? Fashion should make people happy, not miserable

Melbourne is the nation's fashion capital because

It's where all the good designers reside. What more could people want than cafÈ culture, fashion and lifestyle all in one state?

Our biggest splurge was

Jade - my kids. Courtney - my car, I saw it and had to have it

Money can't buy happiness but

It certainly helps you on the journey there

We have never told anyone this but

We are both petrified of flying and we spend half our lives in planes. The more we fly, and the older we get, the scarier flying is becoming. Isn't there another way to get to Paris?

When down to our last $1000 - Tom Ford or Target?

Tom Ford look a-likes from Target?

What this industry needs is

More promotion of our young designers overseas. Australian designers have a lot of heart and soul to offer the fashion industry
