PAS gets stretched out
NATIONAL: Australian bodywear brand Metalicus has been acquired by the PAS Group.
PAS CEO Eric Morris said the brand, which is celebrating 15 years of providing signiture bodywear for women, had been acquired for an undisclosed sum.
"We are delighted with the acquisition of the Metalicus business as it is a great complementary fit to our portfolio of businesses and brands," he said.
Metalicus founder and designer Melma Hamersfeld first launched the brand after experimenting with stocking fabric in 1992. Metalicus currently has four retail stores throughout the country and wholesales to 600 local and international specialty and department stores.
