A fundraising gala featuring the work of Alex Perry, Peter Morrissey and Wayne Cooper has raised $28 000 for The Leukaemia Foundation. Hilton Cairns and Hardy Brothers Jewellers' Essence - Eye On Fashion, staged late last month in Queensland, drew 300 guests and saw Morrissey and Cooper personally present their latest spring/summer collections. Brisbane's Mercedes Fashion Week head Lindsay Bennett made sure the fashion stakes were high with garments by Lisa Ho, Alannah Hill, Herringbone, Grbac, Paul Hunt and Cairns' local Vivienne Francine also on show.
