MELBOURNE: Parisian fashion brand ZOE tee’s opened its first Australian store in Melbourne’s Little Collins Street on October 20.
The ZOE tee’s collection is stocked internationally in renowned retailers including Galleries Lafayette, Printemps, Le Bon Marché in Paris, Harvey Nichols in London, Nordstrom, Intermix and Calypso in New York and Lisa Kline and Madison in LA.
With high quality cottons forming the core of the range, the store would also stock Zoe tee's "comfortable yet fashionable eveningwear" in silk cotton, tencel cotton and cashmere blends, a spokesperson for Zoe tee's parent company Aesthetics Group confirmed.
The new Melbourne store was created by designer Mardi Doherty -- whose portfolio includes Diesel stores throughout Europe and the UK, the Lowry Hotel in Manchester, Madonna’s fantasy bedroom for the London House & Garden Fair and work for the Conran Group.
Most recently she completed the new Sydney Paul & Joe flagship boutique [also operated by Aesthetics Group] which was shortlisted for the IDEA Awards in the category of best retail design.
The store design was intended to reflect ZOE tee’s philosophy of using raw materials such as organic cottons and bamboos, the spokesperson confirmed.
"In keeping with Zoe tee’s support for organic materials, a seasonal donation will also be made to
Greenfleet -- an organisation that plants trees on behalf of companies and individuals to offset carbon emissions."
