HONG KONG: Cult Australian denim label Nobody menswear collection has been confirmed as the best selling line of the season by Hong Kong’s leading department store, Lane Crawford.
Exclusively stocked in Hong Kong by Lane Crawford, which boasts the largest designer denim collection in the city, the Melbourne label's maverick designs had been "walking off the rack," a Nobody spokesperson confirmed, adding Nobody womenswear was also proving a top seller for the store.
As a measure of Nobody’s Hong Kong success, Lane Crawford had decorated its windows with Nobody installations created by artist-in-residence Lincoln Emsley, recently seen in the brand’s iconic Brunswick Street, Fitzroy store, he added
"Nobody has struck a chord in denim lovers the world over, but the key to Nobody's success lies in the quality and care taken in the construction of the denim."
The brand was also a good fit for Lane Crawford which –- since its foundation in 1850 -- had evolved into Asia's most influential department store, boasting the region's largest assortment of exclusive, high-end international brands, he said.
