Stellar line up for FGI seminar

SYDNEY: The Australian arm of Fashion Group International has lined up a who's who of big name designers to speak at the group's international conference in Sydney next month.

Speakers confirmed for the November 15 to 18 event, dubbed The Cutting Edge, include Wayne Cooper, Jayson Brunsdon, Aurelio Costarella, Arthur Galan, Akira Isogawa, Brian Rochford and Annah Stretton.

The four-day conference, which aims to showcase the best of Australia's fashion, design and business boasts a full program including panellist discussions, a night at the ballet, a Florence Broadhurst tribute night and a swim, surf and resort showing.

Key highlights of the conference are expected to be a seminar on retailing in the 21st century and a special presentation by Raffles College of Design & Commerce graduates.
