SYDNEY: Westfield Bondi Junction has shown its Australasian competitors what's what when it comes to customer service after scooping the pool at a national awards show.

The shopping centre, home to big name fashion brands including Wayne Cooper, Bettina Liano, Zimmermann, Mimco, Country Road, Esprit, Marcs, Calibre and Maggie T, took out both the 'Best of the best' gong and the best large business at the International Customer Service Professionals (ICSP)  awards show in Melbourne on Friday.

Judged on criteria including leadership and service culture, performance and service standards, training and reward systems  and service solution and responsiveness standards, the awards seek to recognise the best service providers across Australia and New Zealand.

It is the second such award for the centre in less than 10 months after Westfield Bondi Junction was awarded the Customer Service Institute of Australia's (CSIA) Australian Service Excellence Award national winner earlier this year.

Westfield Bondi Junction centre manager Jason Knott said the win came as no surprise to him given the "talent and dedication" his team showed to improving standards.
