Its resources might not match that of its New South Wales counterparts but Metropolitan South Institute of TAFE (MSIT) recently proved that money's no match for passion.

MSIT fashion student Cyan Reign took out top honours at the annual Jeans for Genes competition - marking a first in the institute's history. Sourcing inspiration from 'Flight of the Aviator - Amelia Earhart', Reign's winning entry consisted of a denim body-suit with a matching headpiece. Reign said she was thrilled with the win and had already received media coverage from the local Courier Mail and Brisbane Extra.
