Bra bites
I have noted with interest the recent rolling out of the super models by the giant lingerie manufacturers in order to relaunch yet another range of that cultural icon and feminine necessity, the humble bra. Why is this happening? I believe that this item of underwear may not be selling as well due to more and more women learning about the ground-breaking research done in the US in the early 1990's. Four thousand seven hundred women were surveyed in relation to their bra-wearing habits and breast cancer. It was found that tight bras and under-wire bras worn for too long actually constricted lymph drainage in the breast tissue leading to an accumulation of toxins and subsequent breast lumps. The researchers concluded that bras should not be tight, should not be slept in and should not be worn for more than 12 hours a day. All women should heed this sensible advice.
