Queensland based designers Pamela Easton and Lydia Pearson have proved they are hopeless romantics. Flying down to Sydney on Valentine's Day in February, the partners hosted an intimate autumn/winter 2007 showing at their cosy Paddington boutique. Prominent guests - including David Jones's Colette Garnsey, Vogue'sKat Vidovic and Lady Sonia McMahon - sipped Veuve Clicquot and nibbled on heart shaped chocolates as they admired a collection inspired by the artists of the Viennese seccession movement.

After keeping mum for the past year or so, lifestyle brand Esprit was in the mood to bunker down with the Australian media. Inviting VIP guests to view its autumn/winter 2007 collection at Sydney's QVB, the company went all out with wine, canapés and a special performance by urban popstar Seanny B.

As David Jones officially kicked of its autumn/winter 2007 collection at Sydney's Town Hall recently, some of the biggest names in Australian fashion could be spotted in the crowd. Collette Dinnigan, Kit Willow, Lisa Ho and Jayson Brunsdon were just a few designers who made an appearance.
:Hot and sA definite Latino vibe was in the air at Sydney night spot Ruby Rabbit recently as Brazilian swimwear label Poko Pano teamed with Fashion TV Rio Carnival to launch its 2007 collection. Models were spotted sashaying down the DeNom staircase and onto a grand piano to reveal the sizzling swimwear in an exclusive fashion showcase. The signature designs, worn by Hollywood starlets Mischa Barton and Nicole Ritchie, will be broadcast on FTV in conjunction with their coverage of Rio Carnival celebrations globally.
