Uplifting bra claims

A unique new lingerie line is set to offer much-needed support to women with cosmetically enhanced breasts.
Claiming to be the first of its type in the world, the innovative collection has been developed to offset the changes in shape and size that occur in the thousands of women worldwide who have elected to have breast augmentation.
The range has been developed by prominent US-based lingerie manufacturer Le Mystere - together with a certified plastic surgeon has developed the range - and is set to launch simultaneously across Australia, the US, Canada and the UK later this month.
Australian distributor Eli Rabinowitz, also the brother of Le Mystere founder Michael Rabinowitz, said the need for such a product line had been driven by the increasing numbers of women opting for surgery of this type.
Rabinowitz said studies had shown as many as 80 per cent of women wore ill-fitting or incorrect bra sizes with the result amplified in women who had gone under the knife.
Surgery of this kind meant women no longer fitted conventional bras with the shape of their breast changing from a "tear drop" profile with a gentle concave down slip to a more convex shape, he said.
"You really have to look after your boobs. In the past problems of this nature have always ended up in the 'too hard' basket. But the good news is we've solved all their concerns."
The range, dubbed Le Mystere No. 9, is manufactured in standard band sizes and features five different styles including all over lace, seamless T-shirt, sheer, convertible strapless and front closure.
Manufactured in China, the bra sizes will range from 8 to 14 with C, D and E cup sizes.
The bra and underpants are expected to retail for around $100.
While the range will not be seen instore until June, Rabinowitz will commence selling at impending trade fair Fashion Exposed.
