French label grows up

GROWTH SPURT: Popular French childrenswear label La Compagnie des Petits has begun its Southern Hemisphere attack. The brand recently opened its first Australian boutique in the Melbourne suburb of Prahran, courtesy of locals Fiona Heyward and Kate Martin. Boasting 200 plus boutiques around the world - including 130 in France alone - the brand has made no secret of its ambitious growth plans, expected to include a second Melbourne boutique and one in Sydney within the next 12 months.
