Having been a sharp shooter in the game of fashion photography for nearly 30 years, Robert Rosen believes he's learnt a thing or two about taking "If the models are getting dressed you have to be really careful not to get boobs and [bottoms] - you have to aim to get them when they are fully dressed."
Rosen, a regularly snapper for fashion bible Vogue, recently teamed with shopping mall mecca Westfield Bondi Junction to unveil his latest photographic exhibition, Fashion Focus.
Timed to coincide with the mall's launch of summer fashion, the exhibition is a result of Rosen's AAA pass - "I'm like an alcoholic", he jokes - affording an insider's views as to what goes on behind the scenes and on the catwalk at the recent spring/summer designer collection shows.
As with a similar exhibition last year, Rosen was forced to whittle "thousands of images" from his private collection down to just 120 for the showing. However when pressed was unable to name a clear favourite.
"It's like they are my children. I can't name one because they're all so different. It's such an electrifying atmosphere back there - it has a very slow start and then suddenly it's on for young and old."
