SYDNEY: Global womenswear chain Esprit has appointed a new wholesale general manager as part of the expansion of its wholesale and retail divisions. Sam Cooper, who previously worked for the Colorado Group and Jag Australia, will spend his first weeks visiting the group's regional headquarters in Hong Kong and international headquarters in Germany before returning to work at its Melbourne office.

SYDNEY: Vintage-inspired jewellery brand Victoria Springs has consolidated its business and moved to smaller premises. Formerly at 110 Oxford Street, from the end of the month the brand can be found at 5 Williams Street, Paddington. The team can be contacted on: 02 9380 6513.

:Scout for new space
SYDNEY: Global trend forecast consultancy Scout is on the move. Previously located in Reservoir Street in Eastern Sydney, the team has now moved to a new location. :Major PR firm to represent new designer.
SYDNEY: Fashion designer Yeojin Bae has enlisted Marie Claude Mallet PR to represent her new label. Bae was a designer for SABA for six seasons before leaving to launch her own company earlier this year. The firm currently represents designers such as Kate Sylvester, Ginger & Smart, Zimmerman and Fluer Wood. They officially begun their representation of Bae on May 1.

:PR company gains new fashion deal.
SYDNEY: Dynamic Duo PR have acquired their first fashion deal representing Danish sportswear label, Hummel. The label produces three lines including technical sports apparel, casual sportswear and urban fashion. The PR agency has previously organised events for the Australia Open 2004, SIDS and Kids Victoria and Molly Meldrum.

:Four Labels move to new PR agency.
Ann Morrison Public Relation's have added Vicious Threads, Hudson Jeans, ReBirth and Kenneth Cole footwear to their portfolio. The new clients will join T.L Wood, Jonathon Aston Hosiery, Kenneth Cole Handbags & Accessories, Fun Fashion Accessories, Original Penguin, ambra and DECLIC who are also represented by the company. The agency has also managed the publicity for the upcoming L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival.
