Iconic West Australian pearling company Kailis Australian South Sea Pearls launched their Ethereal Collection exclusively through Melbourne's Rutherford Pearls late last month. The event - which took place at Rutherford's Collins Street outlet in central Melbourne - featured lashings of nibbles, drinks and of course pearls in every conceivable size and hue.

Nicholson launch
Melbourne's discerning fashionistas waived the rival temptations of the L'Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival (LMFF) to celebrate the launch of womenswear label NICHOLSON's Autumn/Winter 2006 range at Melbourne nightspot The Trust. The collection, which had showcased in LMFF's Runway Six parade to an audience of media, industry and enthusiastic followers, featured relaxed layers combining silks, fine wools and cottons for an effortless look adaptable to any occasion.

Pretty Girls
The Pretty Girl Fashion Group (PGFG) recently celebrated the graduation of its 2006 class of career development students. The graduation evening was held at the Vibe Hotel in Sydney's Rushcutters Bay. Graduates were flown in, from across the country, for the inaugural glamorous cocktail event.
