Aware of the growing demand for consumers needs to personalize their style new denim label per capita has launched an on-line denim range.
Handing over creative control to its customers by allowing them to design every aspect of their made to order jeans, former KVB Institute of Technology design graduates Michelle Worsfold and Mark Bärwald created per capita last November.
Realizing today's fashion consumers are more in tune with what they want, per capita's co-owner Worsfold said the pair had friends wanting more personalized features on their jeans.
"The denim market has become a lot smarter - this concept puts the consumer back in control. They create the jeans as they like. It's a challenge for the customer as it forces them to think about what they're wearing."
The innovative company offers five base cuts for men and women, five options of denim and treatments, four choices of front and back pockets, four waistband options and five belt loops. Choose a zip or button fly, three metal colours, and even four stitch colour choices. The guys also get the option of a larger coin pocket and knee details.
Entirely produced in Sydney, prices (before delivery) range from approximately $200 for a basic design to a top line creation with hand worked abrasions and brocades at $500.
Instructions on how to measure yourself for the perfect per capita fit are detailed on the site and delivery within Australia is generally under two weeks.
