Californian style hits Australia

Cult US T-shirt brand C&C California is due to hit Australian shores for spring/summer 06/07.
Launched three years ago in the US, the brand has become a must-have in most American and more recently British wardrobes.
Produced from a light weight 100 per cent cotton that is butter soft and ideal for layering, the tees are made in LA. The signature colours of soft pinks, blues, lilacs, yellows and shades of orange are custom designed and reflective of the early 1970's vivid surf and skate culture.
Creating a cotton that feels like it's 20-years-old and well worn, the brands designers Clare Stansfield and Cheyanne Benedict have patented the fabric.
Selling through fashion agents International Fashion Group, first deliveries for summer are due in-store from May 1. With 12 stockists lined up in Sydney, Queensland and Melbourne the classic designs for women include three styles of singlet, four styles of T-shirt and five different long sleeve tops in a mix of soft cotton jersey and textured cotton.
In line with the US selling season the autumn line is selling now with June delivery.
Retailing at $79.95 for the basic classic tank to $515 for cashmere, the women's autumn line offers earthy splashes of colour with browns, mustards, navy and greys mixed with grass greens and warm pinks. A cashmere line includes a kimono cardigan and turtle necks in stripe combinations. Fashion pieces range from hoodies and fleece pants, stretch Lycra pieces, cord lounge pants and a range of cotton jersey dresses.
The men's line is more classic with key colours navy, khaki, grey and black. Patch pocket tees, fleece hoodies, cord lounge pants, long sleeve v-necks and soft cashmere knits are offered in strong bold colours including aqua, burnt orange and burgundy.
With babies and toddlers it's all about cute rainbow and star prints in a range of lollipop colours. For boy's velour track pants, thermals, long sleeve tees stand alongside smocked dresses with matching shorts for girls. Kid's prices start at $43 for a pair of shorts.
Offering four collections a year, sizing runs from XS to L for women, S to XL for men, kids are catered from two to nine years and babies 0 to 24 months.
