Chadstone win
MELBOURNE: Chadstone Shopping Centre has taken out the keenly-contested title of the number one shopping centre in Australia for the third year in a row. The "Big Guns" competition, run annually by Shopping Centre News, ranks the country's shopping centres based on performance. It crowned Chadstone the best performing centre in the country, with retail sales of more than $953 million last year. Australia's top 20 shopping centres had an overall retail sales turnover of $12.2 billion for the same period.
Sportscraft's history
SYDNEY: Fashion label Sportscraft has launched a new advertising campaign designed to leverage the brand's unique pedigree. Titled "The craft of life", the campaign was created by Studio Woo. The campaign, shot by Australian photographer Richard Bailey, has been rolled out across print, online and outdoor.

SYDNEY: Dollface Fashion Agency, which launched at Mercedes Australian Fashion Week 2005, is taking its hottest labels on the road. Among the brands available for viewing during the road show are Sewn, Xanadu, Bora, Lenna, Carver and Elvis di Fazio. The show, scheduled to stop in Hobart, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Surfers Paradise and Sunshine Coast, begins on April 6 and concludes in Sydney on May 10. Esprit equals out
SYDNEY: As part of its major expansion plan previously reported by Ragtrader the Esprit Australia and New Zealand business will be integrated into the Asia Pacific region. Extended brand and headquarter support will be offered to the operation along with considerable investment over the coming months. With retail and now wholesale being of equal focus Esprit will be looking for strong wholesale partners and well-established retail partners to build the franchise business.
