Oriental themes seem to be an in trend at events of late. First at DJ?s winter 06 VIP parade then at Westfield?s WBJ magazine launch at The Eastern, Westfield Bondi Junction. Red candles, vintage posters and Chinese lanterns decorated Bar Pacifica, where designers Leona Edmiston and Wayne Cooper sipped cherry cosmopolitans alongside the centre?s retailers and guests.

Motoring into fashion
Four of Melbourne's hottest up-and-coming fashion labels -- Jtah, Belinda Fairbanks, Lorena Laing and Anna Thomas -- displayed their latest collections on Valentine's Day, February 14, in a series of fashion parades. The event - forming part of the Melbourne International Motor Show, which took place from February 9 to 19 at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre -- featured ready-to-wear collections from each label and highlights included the chance to win a $3000 fashion wardrobe by the four designers featured.
