BRISBANE: Women's footwear boutique Zomp is scheduled to launch its first Queensland venture in October, bring its total store number to eight nationally.

Located in James Street, Fortitude Valley, the 180 square metre site will be near Bettina Liano, sass and bide, Mimco and Scanlan & Theodore stores.

The store will be designed by Sydney-based architect Anthony Fisher, who has created the other Zomp stores.

Zomp began in Perth 30 years ago and operates stores in Melbourne and Sydney.

Zomp provides a mix of retail brands, with Italian, Spanish and Brazilian product key to its offer. Labels include Vicmatie, Ixos, H by hudson, Roberto Del Carlo and Luiza Barcelos. It also creates in house labels Zomp, 2 baia vista and 2BV.

Its price range spans from $80 to $1200.
