SYDNEY: The company which has created corporate uniforms for high-end establishments such as Medina, Crowne Plaza Canberra and numerous hotels worldwide has collapsed.
According to documents filed with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, liquidators were appointed to Ziva Corporate yesterday in addition to a resolution to wind up the company.
The St Peters-based company claims a client list which includes Toga Group (Medina, Vibe Hotels and Travel Lodge), Crowne Plaza Canberra, Food and Beverage Parliament House, TIO Insurance and global hotel chains.
Managing director Ziva Lavecky has been in the business for over 15 years, designing and manufacturing corporate apparel in Sydney.
When contacted by www.ragtrader.com.au, Lavecky claimed no suppliers had been burnt as a result of the collapse.
"None of my suppliers got hurt," she said. "I tried very hard to try to make it work."
