NATIONAL: Witchery has confirmed the imminent launch of its menswear collection. Following its much debated viral advertising campaign for the new label, the retailer will launch Witchery Man online on February 18.
A spokesperson for the company confirmed the first batch of Witchery Man stores would also begin to open on February 28 until mid March. These include outlets at Camberwell, Crown and Sorrento in Victoria, Chatswood Chase, Warringah Mall, Bondi and Bankstown in New South Wales, one store each in ACT and Queensland, three stores in WA and at least one store in New Zealand.
"These locations are existing Witchery locations, all with dual or separate entrances for our man. The men's space is a totally new space, architecturally designed specifically for our 'Witchery man'. A huge Bondi Junction flagship store will also open in July, stocking the three brands: Witchery Woman, Witchery Man and Witchery Accessories."
Witchery Man's customer had "an eye for what he wants to wear and a unique ability to twist the classics."
"Keeping it wonderfully fresh, he adds a subtle casualness with cord trousers and leather satchel and, if chilly, drapes a thick woollen scarf around his neck atop a Merino sweater, the entire ensemble meeting with approving glances as he passes by."
