NATIONAL: Witchery is venturing into the childrenswear market, with a new line called WitcheryKids launching later this month.

The womenswear retailer will offer a range for young girls and boys aged two to nine years old. The collection will capture adult trends styled for children.

The design team will be led by head designer of childrenswear, Linda Levy.

It will launch into 18 existing Witchery stores nationally on August 27, with more stores to follow in late 2010 and early 2011. It will also be sold online at www.witcherykids.com.au from September.

Two main seasonal collections will be released each year, with new product dropping into store every month. The initial range is themed 'The Hamptons', inspired by holidays by the seaside.

Price examples are $16.95 for a T-Shirt or $39.95 for denim pieces. Footwear will be key, with trainers in various colours priced at $29.95.
