Melbourne-based womenswear company Witchery is in the process of adopting a new look store concept across its national retail chain.

The company's stores in Melbourne Central, Hawksburn and Crown Casino in Victoria, Greenwood Plaza, NSW, Queens Plaza in Queensland and Rundle Mall in South Australia were amongst the first to be revamped by a New York-based architectural firm.

The company's store on Little Collins Street, Melbourne is currently being renovated with completion expected by the end of September.

"Witchery believes a new approach is needed to keep the brand innovative, contemporary, aspirational and in line with modern day thinking and customers expectations," said public relations manager Laura Konrads.
New store features include gloss white lacquer walls, which are offset by bamboo, leather, suede and a variety of dark woods, larger fitting rooms with ceiling to floor silk curtains, lounge chairs, sofas and mirrors.
A variety of chrome floor lamps, counter lamps, wall lamps, built in fixture lighting and pendant lighting are also featured in the new look stores.

The company, which currently operates 72 stores in Australia, will revamp its remaining 35 stores over the coming year.
