MELBOURNE: Trade fair Fashion Exposed has wrapped up for another season, with organisers revealing the latest instalment of the event attracted over 8446 visits.

The trade fair was co-located with the Bags & Accessories and the Australian Shoe Fair at Melbourne Exhibition Centre from August 29 to 31.

While fair organiser Australian Exhibition & Conferences (AEC) has not yet released a comprehensive breakdown of visitor numbers, it appears the August fairs attracted fewer visits than those held earlier this year. AEC reported the co-located Fashion Exposed and Australian Shoe Fair recorded 9426 visits in February 2010.

August 2010 Fashion Exposed exhibitors including womenswear labels Joseph Ribkoff and Boo Radley and menswear label Connor all reported solid fair performances.

Meanwhile, brands located within the Bags & Accessories and Australian Shoe Fair precincts including Holster, Fabienne, Nordic Designs and Firucci, were more subdued in their appraisal.

Fair organisers revealed the next season of fairs would not be co-located, with the Australian Shoe Fair to be held individually in Sydney from February 11 to 13.

Fashion Exposed and the Bags & Accessories Fair will follow on March 6 to 8.
