NATIONAL: Westfield has announced current director Gary Weiss will retire from its board at the end of May.
Weiss, director of Guinness Peat Group, will stand down due to “an increase in his business commitments”, Westfield said.
Chairman of AGL Energy and of Australian Financial Centre Forum, Mark Johnson, will stand for election as director at Westfield's annual general meeting on May 27.
Johnson has worked for more than 40 years in the banking and finance sector and held senior roles at Macquarie Bank before retiring in 2007. Johnson was also awarded an Order of Australia in January of this year for his services to business.
