The event, first launched by Conde Nast in 2009 and operated locally by News Magazine title Vogue Australia, has also secured Tourism NSW as a first time sponsor for the instalment on September 8. Existing partner City of Sydney has also signed for the 2011 event.

Westfield Sydney confirmed it has had an advertising relationship with Vogue since the centre opened in October 2010. However, marketing general manager John Batistich told Ragtrader a multi-year agreement had not been inked for the annual consumer shopping night.

“At this stage, Westfield Sydney have partnered with Vogue Fashion’s Night Out for the 2011 event,” he said. “All of our tenants [will be] actively engaged. Also many of our food tenants will take part...including our food court and Justin North’s Becasse and Quarter 21, as well as four fine dining restaurants.”

The night will include a number of activations across luxury stores, department stores, shopping centres, boutiques and High Street brands. It will stretch across Martin Place, Pitt Street, Market Street and George Street.
