NATIONAL: Italian luxury house Versace is to re-enter the Australian market just four weeks after domestic licence holders shut down its store network here.

At least three Australian Versace representatives confirmed retail sites in Melbourne could re-open as early as September 2009.

It is understood an ex-director of former Versace licence holder Zestland has established his own company and renegotiated terms with Gianni Versace executives in Milan.
