I EARN A CRUST BY
The beachside. From selling seashells by the sea shore as a five-year-old, to taking photos of tourists on Daydream Island. Now I’m selling things to wear to the beach through my label Crochetta.

MY WORST HABIT IS
Going to great lengths to add to my snow dome collection. It can really be annoying for whoever I am travelling with at the time; all those wacky souvenir stores.

WHO I’D LIKE TO BE IF NOT ME
My alter-ego: Kitty Pow-Pow; a Bond Girl with a penchant for burlesque dancing.

PEOPLE TELL ME I’M
Fun and cool – well, just one person: my eight-year-old cousin Ava. Who, it should be noted, is a very good judge of character.

MY WARDROBE FAVOURITE IS
My black felt trilby. It comes in far too handy and the back bow gives it a more feminine edge. Oh, and it squishes up nicely in my suitcase, popping back to life as if nothing happened.

IF I COULD BANISH ONE TREND
It would be velcro underpants: they are such a rip-off.

MELBOURNE AND SYDNEY ARE australia’s FASHION CAPITALS
But Michael Jackson is still the King of Pop.

MY BIGGEST SPLURGE WAS
Quite recent; a Missoni cushion which cost me $350. My justification: the colours make me happy.
