Sydney is the nation's fashion capital because
I'm biased, I grew up here so my fashion sense has been defined by my surroundings. Also there's more diversity, Sydney has a little bit of everything and there's always something going on
My biggest splurge was
Spending part of my last 20 pounds on Oyster Mag when I was broke living in London. Actually a bigger splurge would have been the cost of that trip, backpacking through seven countries for a year
Money can't buy happiness but

When down to my last $1000 - Tom Ford or Target
In this financial climate it's not cool to drop a grand on any one fashion item which is about all you'd get with Tom Ford, so I'd say Target. Plus Target has some great things lately and some great names on board
