SYDNEY: Leon Henry is the latest designer label to cross the ditch into food and hospitality.
The unisex fashion brand, owned and operated by International Fashion Group, has scored a supplier contract with trendy eatery Bondi Pizza. The Bondi Beach-based restaurant has sourced separates from the brand's core ready-to-wear collection.
As reported in Ragtrader Magazine, bespoke designer Daniel Avakian completed a special commission for high-end restaurant Rockpool Bar & Grill last month. The lucrative contract saw Avakian create custom-made suiting and dresses for front of house staff at the Sydney CBD venue.
Fashion stalwart Peter Morrissey also ventured into the hospitality game last month, confirming he would create uniforms for staff at fashion food giant McDonald's.
