The Boutique
Boutique, a new store offering designer brands from both Australia and abroad, is due to open in Sydney's beachside suburb Manly at the end of April.
In an attempt to cater to the fashion conscious shopper owner Shelly Loughland has sourced one-off creations and special collections with limited quantities which she claims ensures the wearer uniqueness and originality.
Situated in a 100-year-old terrace, the retail space will be a sister store to the recently opened Boutique in Washington DC owned by Loughland's sister Karen Cox.
Offering $20 T-shirts from American Apparel to $1000 hand-detailed creations from Collette Dinnigan, other labels stocked at the store include Gail Elliott, IT Girl, Chetcuti, Bendon lingerie and bags, belts, leather coats and skirts from the store's in-house brand Lale Bouquet.
A small selection of men's shirts from Chetcuti will be available, while Terry Biviano shoes, Meli' Melo' handbags from London and jewellery designed and handmade in St Tropez are just some of the accessories on offer.
Tapping into the trend of a lifestyle store, chandeliers from Victoria Spring Design, candles from a 100 year-old perfumery in Provence and exotic curtains, pillows and throws (all for sale) from around the world decorate the store.
Launching an on-line boutique at international-lifestyles.com to combine with the opening of the stores, virtual shoppers can Loughland said private shopping evenings with a stylist will also be offered as part of the sibling's events and lifestyle concierge service, International Lifestyles.
Situated upstairs in both boutiques, the company caters to high-end international clientele who need assistance with planning and reservations.
