Fashion doyenne Alannah Hill and celebrities Jennifer Hansen and Renee Henderson had tea last month, but this was no ordinary tea party, with the fashionable trio causing a stir as "celebrity tea-ladies" at the launch of design emporium Format. :Better late than Never
When Fashionassassin designer Alex Zabatto-Bentley decides to stage a soiree, he never does it by halves. Forced to pull out of the Sydney edition of frock fest Australian Fashion Week earlier this year for personal reasons, Zabatto-Bentley launched his much-anticipated spring/summer 2006/07 collection at swanky Kings Cross eatery Hugo's earlier this month. Awash with the requisite list of industry A-listers, the good looking guests were treated to a sumptuous feast of salami, tomato, spinach and goats cheese pizzas washed down with Campari cocktails.

The event, staged outside the retailer's Convent Garden base, was held to mark the official arrival of the summer sunshine in the English capital.
