NATIONAL: Nearly 70 textile, clothing and footwear brands across Australia are celebrating today after they collectively scooped $2.6 million in federal funding.
The businesses, which range from high profile brands such as Antipodium to the lesser known Publisher Textiles, received the grants as part of the Australian Government's TCF Small Business Program.
More than 250 brands applied for the grants which successful applications receiving between $11,000 and $50,000 apiece.
The assistance package was set up to provide $25 million in grants over 10 years to Australia's small designers and manufacturers.
