SYDNEY: New Zealand labels Annah Stretton, Kate Sylvester and Zambesi will fly the Kiwi flag at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week (RAFW) this month.

The high profile labels are among a list of more than 70 apparel, footwear and accessories labels confirmed to showcase their collections at the April 27 to May 1 event.

Leading the charge from a domestic front will be Camilla & Marc which has secured the schedule's coveted opening spot while relative new comer Fernando Frissoni will close the show, using the opportunity to debut his first womenswear collection.

Others confirmed on schedule include Ginger & Smart, Kirrily Johnston, Lisa Ho, Marnie Skillings, Willow and Zimmermann.

IMG Fashion Asia Pacific managing director Simon Lock said a host of international guests had also registered for the annual trade only event with buyers from American Rag Cie, Asos.com, Urban Outfitters and Bauhaus Hong Kong making their way to Sydney for its 14th instalment.

Lambert & Associates director Florence Torrens, who represents a luxury market buying consultancy for stores including Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Lane Crawford, Pedder and Fenwick, would be attending RAFW for the first time, Lock said.

The full designer line up will be released on April 15.
