Womenswear brand Hussy, surf, skate and contemporary casualwear brand Hurley, Melbourne based cult designer Roger Grinstead, young, offbeat Sydney designer Valerie Tolosa, new jewellery brand Chelsea De Luca and on-line retailer miijo.com.au have all been added to the PR firms stable.

BRISBANE: The hunt is on for designers to show their collections in a five-day fashion festival planned for Brisbane at the end of August. Organisers behind the inaugural Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival are seeking up to 25 designers to take part in the event which will feature four designer parades and six group showings over its duration. SYDNEY: National trade body Austrade is running a series of seminars expressly targeting female exporters. The seminars, held in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth in May, aim to not only help women enter the export arena but also provide advice to women exporters seeking to expand into new international markets. :Gift Awards Finalists
SYDNEY: Taking place at Sydney's Doltone House, The Gift Awards 2006 has elected 62 finalists to go through to the final judging round. Marketers, suppliers, designers, manufacturers and retailers were all invited to submit entries which were marked by a panel of 20 judges. Finalists in the Best Jewellery and Fashion Product section include Samantha Wills Designs, Metal Art and Patricia Browne. The Gift Awards 2006 Gala Dinner will take place on May 26.
