Womenswear retail chain Sussan has teamed up with internationally acclaimed Australian artist Sarina Tomchin to create a new range of sleepwear.
A student at the Sydney College of Arts and a professional artist for more than 10 years, Tomchin has to date created a range of artworks across a diverse array of media. Her unqiue mixed media painting style incoporates oils, acrylics, plaster, sand, hand stitching and collages on paper and hessian. Until now, her artworks have featured on home wares, fashion accessories, stationery, giftware and napery.
Targeting women aged 15 to 35 years, the stylish sleepwear collection features a variety of wraps, singlets, long pants, nighties and lace shorts in sizes small, medium and large.
"The range is a combination of soft fabrics with delicate lace trims and Sarina's unique and distinctive print designs," said a spokesperson from Sussan.
Priced from $24.95 the range is available in 12 Sussan stores throughout Australia and New Zealand. Stores include Chadstone in Melbourne, Castle Hill in Sydney, Queensland's Pacific Fair and St Lukes in New Zealand.
"We believe that this is the beginning of an ongoing relationship with this exciting new artist...We are already working on the next range for release in April 2006."
