SUMMER SWING: Top notch Sydney eatery Moonshadow Restaurant played host to an elegant breakfast crowd of around 60 when Sydney shopping precinct the MLC Centre staged a preview of its latest international and domestic trends for spring/summer 06/07 recently. Belinda, Robby Ingham, Farage, Posh Boutique, Jigsaw and Salvatore Ferragamo were among the retailers showing in the parade, which featured the latest offerings from designers including Stella McCartney, Chloe and Georg Jensen.

WARM WINTER: Braving the winter chill atop the Blacket Hotel's Sky Room in Sydney, guests at the Sunshades Eyewear showcase sipped on champagne while viewing the latest from Karen Walker, Blinde, Morrissey, Oroton and Le Specs. A-listers such as Peter Morrissey, Ali Mutch and Gracie Otto also nibbled on a fine selection of canapés including roast beef topped with cornichon encroute.

A FITTING OCCASION: Hot on the heels of a foray into footwear, fashion mogul Bruno Schiavi unveiled his Winter 2006 collection for MENSFIT underwear. Held at Double Bay's Pink Salt restaurant, the event also celebrated the appointment of television star Luke Jacobz as the label's new poster boy. An endless stream of bubbly and canapes were at hand to celebrate.

MALE ORDER: Moody night spot The Order of Melbourne was the scene of some serious testosterone flaunting last month...and not a redneck bar brawler in sight. Instead the bar played host to a mix of well-groomed metrosexuals and chicks, all of whom had flocked there to witness the launch of Australia's latest male only model agency, Academy Men. Proceedings kicked off at cocktail hour and unwound until late, with a male only parade providing the highest of highlights.
