Despite its long history and reputation as one of Australia's leading retailers, Harris Scarfe has made significant changes since its initial refresh in 2002.

As part of the relaunch, the South Australia-based business developed and implemented a new logo, new signage and initiated major upgrades to all stores.

One of its latest stores to receive a new lease on life includes the Forest Hill store, launched in May, and located in the Forest Hill Chase Shopping Centre on Canterbury Road.

The design, which spans 3700 square metres, was created by Red Design Group with each section  fitted by shop fitting, project management and logistics firm '3 Fold Resources' over a period of two weeks.

In addition, 3 Fold Resources also designed and manufactured several new fixture concepts for the Harris Scarfe Forest Hill store, including gloss white tiered (nesting) tables, promo cubes, mesh shelves, tiered round display units.

The result is a clean, minimalistic layout which clearly defines each section of the retailer's product  offering, allowing for easy shopping and browsing by customers.

According to Harris Scarfe project manager Michael Fitzgerald it's precisely this convenience and the added benefit of providing a wide product offering which gives Harris Scarfe an edge over the competition and makes the Forest Hill store concept a success.

“We like to pride ourselves on being the every person’s retailer with a variety of customer shopping within the Harris Scarfe store,” he said.

“The store carries all sorts of homewares, manchester, fashion and kidswear with national brands including Circulon, Berlei, Sheridan and Diana Ferrari . We aim to offer the best products at the best prices to our customers, and that’s part of what makes us a unique business.”
