MELBOURNE: Sportsgirl's flagship store in Bourke Street Melbourne has been short-listed as a finalist in the UK Retail Interior Awards 2009.
The vibrant store, which opened in 2008, is nominated in the category of Best International Retail Interior.
The unique design has been recognised along with ten other stores including Adidas in Paris, Fusion in Hong Kong, Gina in Dubai and Topshop in New York.
Designed in association with UK architects HMKM, the retail space features various fashion zones for apparel, shoes and accessories.
The UK Retail Interior Awards is now in its twelfth year. There are fifteen categories covering small stores through to department stores. The winners will be announced in London on September 30.
