SYDNEY: Sportsgirl has offered a sneak peak of its new Pitt Street site, where it will unleash its "superflagship" concept on Sydney for the first time.

The fast-fashion retailer revealed the new site will open in November and has been modelled on Sportsgirl's award-winning Bourke Street (VIC) and Chadstone (VIC) store formats.

Features of the Pitt Street store will include 'the launch pad', a space to promote rising fashion designers; the 'style me studio', a space for personalised advice from Sportsgirl's fashion stylists; and one of the womenswear retailer's largest shoe departments.

The store will be doused in splashes of Sportsgirl's primary brand colours, while a neutral white background, high gloss lacquers and white-on-white finishes will convey the brand's signature feel.

Other finishes will include metallic gold curtains, blue carpet and a 'shooting star' ceiling design.

The Pitt Street site will receive up to five product drops a week.

Sportsgirl CEO Elle Roseby reflected on the imminent store opening.

“As the world goes online, shops in the real world have got to work 10 times harder to deliver a brand experience customers will seek out and remember. And there is no sector where this applies more than ours,” said Roseby.

“We've spent 18 months working with the very best global architects to deliver a shop which will be the ultimate tangible expression and experience of our brand, connected across every touch point.”
