SYDNEY: New South Wales athletic licensing group Sporte Leisure and apparel brand Greg Norman Collection have been appointed as the Official apparel suppliers for Golf Australia.
The licence, for an undisclosed sum, involves outfitting all members of the Australian Institute of Sport and Golf Australia representative squads.
Sporte Leisure chief executive Matt Meredith, whose company is the exclusive distributor for Norman apparel collection, said the agreement also means the group holds the exclusive rights to all Australian Open branded product and to operate the merchandise facilities for both the Men’s and Women’s Australian Open championships.
The announcement marks the third consecutive year the company has held the rights.
