SYDNEY: Listed apparel house Specialty Fashion Group has welcomed a new face.
The Sydney-based group has appointed Alison Henriksen as its new chief financial officer.
Henriksen replaces Howard Herman who will remain with the group in the dual role of executive general manager and company secretary.
Just last week the group - whose brands include City Chic, Katies, Millers and Queenspark - reported a sales increase of 4.2 per cent for the financial year ending June 30, 2009, in comparison to the same period last year.
The achievement was significant in light of the fact the company had earlier been rocked by the discovery of fraudulent expenditure by staff member Simon Feldman, which had cost it approximately $16.7 million over five years.
